Silver Quill Competition

About the Competition

The Heritage Region’s Silver Quill Competition recognizes excellence in business communications in multiple and varied disciplines. Silver Quill Awards are presented to those outstanding professionals in our Region who have proven that their communication programs effectively furthered the goals of their organizations – boosting revenues, reducing cost, and motivating audiences to a desired action. All business communicators in the Heritage Region are eligible to enter.  You do not need to be an IABC member to enter.

Why enter?
  • Summer deadline, comprehensive evaluations and prompt winner’s notification – all timed so entrants receive the judging critique in time to prepare entries for the 2010 Gold Quill competition.
  • Two-tier judging by select panels of experienced communication professionals – ABCs and past Quill winners.
  • All entries receive electronic, detailed evaluations based upon consistent quality standards.
  • Best of Division Awards
  • Best of Competition Award

Winners will be recognized with a winner’s display and awards ceremony to be held on October 18 at the 2009 Heritage Region Conference in Cleveland, Ohio.
