About Tim

Tim McCleary is the founder/principal of The Involvement Practice and the architect of Brand Involvement®. Inspired by teachers who made learning personal and practical for him, he adapted proven learning techniques to the needs of brand management, creating a proprietary new approach to employee brand training. Most recently, Tim led GE’s global brand and design efforts for the company’s 311,000 employees and taught branding at GE’s executive training center. He’s worked in internal communications, media relations, new media and visual communications for companies such as Marsh, AAA, NBC, Warner Bros. and Bell Canada, and he’s lectured on branding issues at several universities.
