Crisis Communication: Preparing for the Worst, Expecting the Best and Effectively Handling Whatever Happens

Many people think a crisis will never happen to them and often they don't prepare -- this lack of preparation can add insult to injury in the case of a crisis.  But in today's turbulent times, organizations are increasingly trying to solve issues before they arise by spending time identifying all possible worst case scenarios and developing plans to address those situations.  This session will help participants to better know how to anticipate, prevent and mitigate crisis situations in their organizations.  Attendees will learn how to put their skills to work in the development and distribution of crisis planning; act as an antenna for the organization to identify and address potential crises; and use best-practices and anticipatory information to shape an effective and successful crisis communication plan.
