Heritage Region’s Sunday evening Welcoming Session and Opening Reception is your opportunity to celebrate and rejuvenate with colleagues, business contacts and new friends. The evening begins at 6 p.m. in the new ballroom -- 'Currents'-- at the Newport Aquarium with the keynote address by Charlotte Otto, global external relations officer at Procter & Gamble, who will be discussing "Communications Leadership in a 'Let Go' World." This keynote address will share strategies to help build and protect your business, and lead your organization, in a rapidly changing communications environment.

Silver Quill presentations will also be made to celebrate the myriad successes of our region and its members. The extraordinary setting will include exclusive cuisine provided by the French Restaurant Group of world-renowned Chef Jean-Robert de Cavel. He has been featured in Wine Spectator, Food Arts, Bon Appétit, Gourmet and Esquire magazines and many others. Light hors d'ouevres and beverages will be served in the heart of the aquarium, where you will revel in the conversation, contacts, cocktails and cuisine. At the conclusion of our session, the entire aquarium is available for you to explore. You’ll travel a million miles away through a tranquil setting filled with exotic beauty.
