This multidisciplinary focus enables IABC members to expand their skills, effectiveness and marketability.

In addition to the international presence of the association, local chapters provide opportunities for networking and professional development in the company of nearby colleagues. In the US, these local chapters are supported in their missions by three regional organizations.

The Heritage Region comprises 17 states from Michigan to Maine, New York to Ohio, and Virginia to Kentucky. Within the region there are 20 chapters, 122 members at large and total membership of nearly 3,500.

The Heritage Region supports the chapters with:

  • Chapter Leaders Forum – The third annual chapter leader training is scheduled for Sunday, October 14
  • Chapter Liaison Program for chapter leaders
  • Roundtable Phone Calls for chapter leaders
  • Broad-based Planning and support for new chapters and services to Members-at-Large
