Sebastian G. Warren
Volunteer and Recruitment Chair


Sebastian G. Warren is a public affairs practitioner with approximately 22 years of public affairs and journalism experience.  During that time he has worked for the federal government, Prince George’s County Government in Maryland, and private corporations as a practitioner. In addition, he spent approximately five years as a researcher and journalist for a trade publication covering federal and state regulatory issues, and Capitol Hill.  Currently, he works for MPRI as a contractor with the Department of Defense’s Information School (DINFOS) in Fort Meade, Maryland.

With MPRI, Sebastian has been teaching/coaching public affairs management and leadership to U.S. military officers, senior enlisted, senior government service employees and military leaders from other countries through a partnership with the state department for the past five years.

Sebastian is a graduate of the University of Maryland - University College, and the Defense Information School (DINFOS). He is currently working toward his IABC accreditation.

Sebastian is excited and looking forward to serving as the Heritage Region’s Volunteer Chairperson for Recruitment and Retention.  He currently resides in Columbia, Md., with Brigitta, his wife of 12 years; their four sons: Miles, Savon, Colson, and Elias; and their dog Bennigan.
