Amy is a senior
customer communication specialist for LexisNexis Group, a major provider
of information and business solutions—including the Web-based Lexis® and
Nexis® research services—for the legal, risk management, corporate,
government, law enforcement, accounting and academic markets. LexisNexis
serves customers in 100 countries and has 13,000 employees worldwide. Amy
teams with marketing professionals across the United States to produce
promotional and how-to communications on practice management, client
development, legal research and litigation services.
Her experience
encompasses more than 20 years of professional communication in the fields
of technical and legal publishing, business process improvement, insurance
and health care. Amy has managed projects and written and edited a range
of internal and external communication items, including newsletters for
employees, customers, insurance brokers and physicians. She has been
responsible for writing company-wide and external e-mails, executive
messages, Web marketing content, external brochures, direct mail and
advertising copy.
Prior to joining
LexisNexis, Amy enjoyed communication responsibilities at Relizon
(formerly Reynolds and Reynolds and now WorkflowOne), United HealthCare of
Ohio, the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and Horizon
House-Microwave Publishing. She holds a B.A. in English from the
University of Virginia.

Heritage Region, Amy serves as Scholarships & Chapter Grants Chair. Within
IABC/Dayton, her past roles include chapter president, president-elect and
membership vice president. She has been an IABC member since 2000.
