Tracy McDaniel
Chapter Relations Chair
Tracy McDaniel is Manager of Marketing Communications at Medical Mutual of
Ohio, a regional health insurance company headquartered in Cleveland.
Her team provides marketing communications support to the company's
internal sales staff as well as external brokers. Tracy joined Medical
Mutual in March 2008, coming from National City Corporation, where she
was an officer and communications specialist providing internal and
leadership communications support for a division of 2,500 employees.
Prior to this role, Tracy was corporate communications specialist and
corporate webmaster for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a Chicago-based
insurance broker with 8,000 employees worldwide. She has also worked as
a newspaper reporter and as a contractor for Voice of America in
Washington, D.C., writing news stories for international radio
broadcast. Tracy holds a BS in Journalism from Ohio University and is an
alumna of Joe Williams’ Dialogue in the Desert seminar.
Most recently, Tracy was president of IABC Cleveland for the 2006-2007
term. Prior to that, she was Awards Director. In addition to four years
on the awards committee, Tracy also chaired the chapter’s first-ever
scholarship committee in 2007.
