Connie Mayse
Chapter Liaison
Connie J. Mayse is a consultant in the
Change Implementation practice of the global professional services firm,
Towers Perrin, in Cleveland, Ohio.
In this role, Connie provides clients with communication and change
management support in the areas of benefits and compensation. She is
responsible for developing materials used to communicate change in
benefits and compensation programs, such as health and welfare plans,
retirement plans, executive compensation and incentive programs, in a wide
range of media including print, electronic and video.
Connie earned her stripes in twenty years of corporate human resource and
communication experience, including benefits, employee and labor
relations, training and development, writing and editing, layout and
design, video scripting and direction, speechwriting and public speaking.
Prior to joining the Towers Perrins' Change Implementation team in April
2008, Connie spent five years in the cable television industry in
northeast Ohio, with roles in human resources and employee communications.
She also worked about 15 years with a major paint and coatings
manufacturer, including the role of Manager, Employee Communications.
Connie holds a BA in Communications and and MBA in International Business.
She joined IABC in 2000 and served on the Cleveland chapter’s Vision
Awards committee in 2003. She has also served as a judge for local,
regional and international IABC awards and is a recipient of several IABC
awards for her work.
